Words and Music by Len Guardino. My lyrics and arrangement here were inspired by "E lucevan le stelle" in the opera Tosca by Giacomo Puccini. There, Cavaradossi sings the aria awaiting execution by firing squad. My arrangement ends with a "High C" instead of the lower key in the original, among other significant changes.
